It doesn’t need to be an essay and the focus is about being relatable now-a-days. Variety, personality and light-hearted text is the brief and we encourage as much creativity as you want!
Ok, so relevance to your business is still important but there are different angles you can take to get your message across. References to experiences, real-life situations or up-coming events can be included and remember, blogging enhances your online presence and if what you’re writing is interesting, it will keep traffic on your site.
Blogging also helps with organic SEO. Keywords that you have written may be searched on Google and therefore, will help your business appear in the ranking.
Apart from the things mentioned above, there are some other great benefits of blogging.
1. It builds credibility
If you’re investing time into your business and regularly uploading content onto your site, it not only proves that you care about your business but it shows people that you are invested. You spend the time to teach your audience something and that shows credibility.
2. Consistency is key
If you’re going to blog (which we encourage), then make is consistent. Whether it’s monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly, ensure that you are uploading content according to your schedule. Believe it or not, people will look to see how often you’re blogging and will look forward to what you have to say.
3. Size matters
There’s a bit of a debate about how long a blog ‘should’ be. In 2018 and still to this day, it is said that the optimal blog post be 300 words in length. This is so Google can pick up your blog as content.
